क्या आपका कंप्यूटर बार-बार हैंग हो जाता है?
क्या आपका कंप्यूटर बहुत स्लो है और कमांड देने के बाद हमेशा इंतजार करना पड़ता है? अगर कंप्यूटर ने आपके आदेश को मानने में चंद सेकंड की देरी की तो मान लें कि आपकी इस स्पीड मशीन का सिस्टम स्लो है। फिर आप फौरन इस समस्या से निबटने की तरकीबें ढूंढना शुरू कर दें, वरना कंप्यूटर का यह मर्ज 'हैंग' के रूप में दिखने लगेगा। इसके बाद ऐसे सिस्टम पर काम करने में मुश्किल आएगी।

कब मानें कंप्यूटर है स्लो?

- जब कंप्यूटर ऑन करते हैं तो उसके शुरू होने में एक मिनट से ज्यादा वक्त लगे।

- ऐप्लिकेशन के यूज के दौरान डायलॉग बॉक्स के स्क्रीन पर दिखने में 15 सेकंड से ज्यादा समय लगे यानी किसी चीज पर क्लिक करने के बाद उसके ओपन होने में बहुत वक्त लगे।

- कमांड देने के बाद विंडो 10 सेकंड तक ओपन न हो।

स्लो होने की खास वजहें:

1. Ram की कपैसिटी कम होने और ऐप्लिकेशन का बोझ बढ़ने से

2. सिस्टम वायरस की चपेट में आने से

3. नकली या फिर बिना लाइसेंस वाले सॉफ्टवेयर का यूज करने से

4. नए ऐप्लिकेशन और सीपीयू की स्पीड में तालमेल नहीं होने

5. एक साथ कई ऐप्लिकेशंस पर काम करने से

6. गेम्स और साउंड व हेवी पिक्चर वाले स्क्रीनसेवर भी कंप्यूटर की स्पीड को कम कर देते हैं

मेमरी में है दम तो प्रॉब्लम होगी कम

ज्यादातर ram की कपैसिटी कम होने और वर्क लोड लगातार बढ़ने की वजह से कंप्यूटर की स्पीड कम हो जाती है। इसलिए यूज के हिसाब से ram की कपैसिटी बढ़ानी चाहिए। दरअसल क्वॉर्क, फोटोशॉप, विडियो प्लेयर जैसे कई ऐप्लिकेशन स्पेस के भूखे होते हैं। इन पर काम करने के साथ ही मेमरी में स्पेस कम होता जाता है। इस दौरान जब कई सॉफ्टवेयर पर एक साथ काम किया जाता है, तब कंप्यूटर के हैंग और स्लो होने का खतरा बढ़ जाता है। बकौल जैन, 2 जीबी की ram, 3 मेगाहर्ट्ज की स्पीड में चलने वाला सीपीयू और 160 से 320 जीबी तक की हार्ड डिस्क से लैस कंप्यूटर में स्लो या हैंग होने की दिक्कत कम आती है। ऐसे कंप्यूटर पर जनरल प्रोग्राम्स के साथ इंटरनेट से कंटेंट डाउनलोडिंग के अलावा विडियो-ऑडियो प्रोग्राम्स को भी चलाया जा सकता है।

कैसे जानें यूजर स्पेस का हाल

जब हम एक साथ कई ऐप्लिकेशंस को ऑपरेट करते हैं तो मेमरी स्पेस कम हो जाता है। इसलिए जब कंप्यूटर स्लो होने लगे तो चेक करें कि कौन सा ऐप्लिकेशन प्रॉसेसर को रोक रहा है या कितने स्पेस का यूज हो रहा है। चेक करने का तरीका आसान है:

स्टेप1 - crtl+ alt + del करें, एक नई विंडो स्क्रीन सामने आएगी। इसमें टास्क मैनेजर पर क्लिक करें।

स्टेप 2 - फिर उसमें 'प्रॉसेसेज' का बटन क्लिक करें।

स्टेप 3- स्क्रीन पर एक लिस्ट दिखेगी, अब मेम. यूसेज पर क्लिक करें। फाइलें अरेंज हो जाएंगी। अब फाइल्स और ऐप्लिकेशन की साइज के मुताबिक अपनी फौरी प्राथमिकता तय करें यानी यह तय करें कि फिलहाल किस ऐप्लिकेशन को बंद किया जा सकता है और किसे नहीं।

स्टेप 4 - फिर उस ऐप्लिकेशन को बंद करें, कंप्यूटर की स्पीड बढ़ जाएगी।

स्लो कंप्यूटर से बचना हो तो-

1. आपके कंप्यूटर की सी ड्राइव में कम-से-कम 300 से 500 एमबी फ्री स्पेस हो। इसे देखने के लिए माई कंप्यूटर पर क्लिक करें, उसमें सी ड्राइव जहां लिखा है, उसके सामने स्पेस की जानकारी मिल जाती है।

2. अगर सी ड्राइव में स्पेस फुल हो तो वहां पड़ी बेकार की फाइलें और प्रोग्राम्स को डिलीट कर दें।

3. अगर सी ड्राइव की मेमरी में 256 एमबी से कम स्पेस बचा है तो गेम्स न खेलें।

4. हार्ड ड्राइव को अरेंज करने के लिए महीने में एक बार डिस्क फ्रेगमेंटर जरूर चलाएं। यह आपकी हार्ड डिस्क में सेव की गई अव्यवस्थित फाइलों और फोल्डरों को अल्फाबेट के हिसाब से दोबारा अरेंज करता है।

कैसे चलाएं डिस्क फ्रेगमेंटर

Start /Programmes / Accessories / System tool / Disk fragmenter पर क्लिक करने के बाद विंडो स्क्रीन पर आएगा। फिर उसमें Defragment ऑप्शन पर क्लिक करें। डिस्क क्लीनर के ऑप्शन पर क्लिक करते ही टेंपररी और करप्ट फाइलें इरेज हो जाती हैं।

5. अगर एक सिस्टम में दो विडियो ड्राइवर (मसलन, विंडो मीडिया प्लेयर और वीएलसी प्लेयर) हैं तो बारी-बारी उनका यूज करें, दोनों को एक साथ बिल्कुल न चलाएं।

6. किसी नए विंडो सॉफ्टवेयर को रीलोड करने से पहले उसके पुराने वर्जन को डिलीट करें।

7. इंटरनेट से ऐंटि-वायरस और प्रोग्राम डाउनलोड करने से परहेज करें, डुप्लिकेट ऐंटि-वायरस प्रोग्राम्स को करप्ट (खत्म) कर सकता है।

8. पुराने सॉफ्टवेयर पर नए प्रोग्राम्स को रन न करें।

9. नए प्रोग्राम के हिसाब से सॉफ्टवेयर लोड कर अपने सिस्टम को अपडेट करें।

10. जब एक साथ तीन सॉफ्टवेयर प्रोग्राम चल रहे हों तो इंटरनेट को यूज न करें।

11. जब सिस्टम स्लो होने लगे तो लगातार कमांड न दें वरना कंप्यूटर हैंग हो सकता है।

एक नया फोल्डर बनाये और राईट क्लिक करके रीनेम पर क्लिक करें... Alt+225 con लिख कर Enter करें ... ;) क्या आपको पता नहीं आप अपने विन्दोव्स OS में con नाम से फोल्डर नहीं बना सकते.

Many ppl dont know that they cannot create "CON" folder in windows. (Type 1)

Some ppl dont know why they cant create it? (Type 2)

Very few know that they can still create it someway.. but donno why are they supposed to do exactly like that..(Type 3)

Type 1 :

Try out creating a folder named CON or LPT or COM1

Now, you have become Type 2 category.

Type 2 :

Not only CON, we cannot create any of these
CON, PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, LPT9 and more

The reason is that con, prn, lpt1..lpt9, etc are underlying devices from the time dos was written. so if u r allowed to create such folders, there will be an ambiguity in where to write data when the data is supposed to go to the specified devices. In other words, if i want to print something, internally what windows does is -- it will write the data to the folder prn (virtually u can call it a folder, i mean prn, con, etc are virtual folders in device level). So if we are able to create con folder, windows will get confused where to write the data, to virtual con folder or real one.

So Now, Try this...

Open the Command prompt by Start -> Run and typing cmd


Code:
C:\> md \\.\c:\con
Now, Open My Computer and browse through the path where you created CON folder... Surprising.. ?? Yeah.. you have created it successfully

Now, try to delete the folder from My computer

OOPS!!! You cant delete it...

Now, try this in command prompt console

Yeah!! You did it...

Type 3 :

Well, let us now have a glance at how we were able to create it...

It is just because of the UNC Path . The Universal Naming Convention, or UNC, specifies a common syntax to describe the location of a network resource, such as a shared file, directory, or printer.Since, these conventions did n't exist under pure DOS, they are not backward compatible. The UNC syntax for Windows systems is as follows..

\\RemoteHost\sharedfolder\resource

where RemoteHost is the computer name / IP address of the computer that you wish to connect through remotely for accessing shared folder. The rest is the path.

(Here \\remotehost\drive:\con doesn't make sense anyway, because without having a process on the remote host, there is no current 'console'). It would be a security hazard as well, having the serial and parallel ports accessible for everyone who is allowed to read or write in any single directory.

The "." in the command \\.\c:\con suggest the local server. Now, you are pointing to your own computer. since, you have all privilages on every folder of ur computer, you can easily create it.

STEP2: type in prompt e:\> "mkdir \\.\e:\con"

STEP3: verify by typing "dir \\.\e:\con"

STEP4: delete the file or folder "rmdir \\.\e:\con"

wo isliye kyunki con folder windows ki directory me pahle se hi hota hai isliye simple method se con folder nahi ban pata
aur bhi bahut saare folder hai jo nahi bante jaise com1 lpt1, lpt2.......3,4.5. many more
