Now do the maths - India with $1456 billion or $1.4 trillion has more money in Swiss banks than rest of the world combined. Public loot since 1947

Recently, due to international pressure, Swiss govt. agreed to disclose the names of the account holders only if the respective govts formally asked for it. Indian govt is not asking for the details.

Its high time We need to pressurize the govt to do so. DISHONEST INDUSTRIALISTS, scandalous politicians and corrupt IAS, IRS, IPS officers have deposited in foreign banks in their illegal personal accounts a sum of about $ 1,456 billion, which have been misappropriated by them.

This is 13 TIMES THE COUNTRY'S TOTAL FOREIGN DEBT, and we talk about FISCAL DEFICIT?

बीजेपी का कहना है कि स्विस बैंकों में जमा भारतीयों का काला धन स्विट्जरलैंड लौटाना चाहता है इसके लिए उसने कानून भी बना लिया है, लेकिन भारत सरकार उस धन को वापस लेने के लिए आवश्यक औपचारिकताएं पूरी नहीं कर रही है। स्विट्जरलैंड में भारतीयों के 70 लाख करोड़ रुपये जमा हैं। संयुक्त राष्ट्र के 65वें विशेष सत्र में भाग लेकर लौटे बीजेपी के उपाध्यक्ष शांता कुमार ने कहा कि स्विस सरकार के स्थायी मिशन प्रमुख मैथायस बैचमैन ने स्विस बैंकों में जमा अवैध राशि के बारे में महासभा को जानकारी दी और आश्वस्त किया कि स्विस सरकार अपने बैंकों में जमा खातों की राशि संबंधित देशों को वापस करने के लिए पूर्ण सहयोग करेगी। स्विस सरकार अपने देश में जमा धन को चोरी की संपत्ति मानती है।
इसी को ध्यान में रख कर स्विस सरकार ने स्विस संसद में मूल देशों को उनका पैसा और संपत्ति वापस करने के लिए कानून बना दिया है, लेकिन यह तभी संभव होगा जब संबंधित देश इस संबंध में अपनी इच्छा व्यक्त करें और आवश्यक औपचारिकताएं पूरी करें। उनका कहना था कि सोल में हुए जी-20 कनवेंशन में तय किया गया था कि कोई देश काले धन के बारे में जानकारी गुप्त नहीं रखेगा। स्विट्जरलैंड ने मूल देशों को उनका काला धन लौटाने के 2003 के कनवेंशन की पुष्टि कर दी है, लेकिन भारत ने अब तक इसकी पुष्टि नहीं की है। इस कनवेंशन पर हस्ताक्षर करने वाले 148 देशों में से 126 देशों ने इसे सत्यापित कर दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि संसद के मॉनसून सत्र में उन्होंने कनवेंशन को सत्यापित न करने का मामला उठाया था, लेकिन प्रधानमंत्री ने उसका कोई जवाब नहीं दिया। उन्होंने इस संबंध में प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय को पत्र लिखा तो उसका जवाब दिए जाने की बजाय राज्यमंत्री की ओर से उस पत्र की केवल पावती भेजी गई।
