The plot of the movie revolves around the life of Sameer (Shahid Kapur) who is a struggler and wants to make big in bollywood. He has a lot of talent and passion but finds it difficult to get a break in bollywood. However, Sameer possess that essential attitude of never- say- die to succeed and hence keeps pursuing his dreams despite all the odds coming his way.
In this jourmey of struggle, Tina (Genelia D’souza), who is a choreographer by profession, acts as a source of strength for Sameer. Her exuberance in general keeps Sameer fresh and lively and keep his spirits high even in downtimes. The story carries a biographical touch with it and may be this is the reason that shahid has looked very confident and passionate in this performance as if he is acting the scenes from his life.
He has again proved his dancing talent and you can say that he has mastered this art but on the other side he has barely managed to make the audiences laugh.

Genelia has looked very cute and vivacious as usual. She justifies her selection for the role and suits best as the counterpart of his male protagonist. Both of them have created a good chemistry on the screen and have really looked very beautiful together-a sort of made for each other type you can say.
Parikshit Sahni who plays the Father of Shahid in this movie has been monotonous and seems to be typecasted in the role.
The Music of the movie also looks to be average despite the fact that based on its subject this type of movie is supposed to be a musical hit at least.Still some of the numbers like 'pump it up' are already on charts.
Overall the movie can be rated as average with two (**) as the direction of Ken Ghosh also seems to be almost average but do not go if you are expecting something different in the script like Ishq vishq as he had done in his debut movie.
Good Bye and have a nice time!.
