Goddess Maa Chandraghanta - Third Mata
Maa Chandraghanta is third form of Goddess Durga, Referred to as Chandraghanta, represents bravery. The charming, bright Chandraghanta looks gorgeous. She has a half moon in her forehead in the shape of a bell. This is why she is called Chandraghanta. Chandra + Ghanta, meaning supreme bliss and knowledge, showering peace and serenity, like cool breeze in a moonlit night. With three eyes, she is color in golden. Ten types of armed and she carries pot, bow, arrow, lotus, discus, rosary, trident, mace and sword. This is a terrible aspect and is roaring in anger. The Maa Chandraghanta vehicle is the lion.
