Hi all,

The battle of the champions is starting from tomorrow that is 6th Feb. India and South Africa will be playing 2 test match series and the winner of the series will be the new world number 1. Currently India leading SA by 4 points and by winning series 1-0 or more, SA will be the new Numero Uno. For India, if it wants to continue on top it has to at least draw the series.

Lets put everyone's comments!!

It is going to be a tough battle for Test Supermacy in world cricket..

India is definitely looking stronger side with in-form Sachin, Sehwag and advantage of having home grounds.. .

Best of luck for Team India..

So finally India Lost the match..

India lost because two of its best batsmen, Laxman and Dravid, were not playing in this match, esp Laxman who has been the saviour in similar situations in sooo many matches. Karthick and Raina should have been picked instead of Saha and Murali.

Win or Loss, Sachin will hit Century to remain in the team and make Money as much as possible. Hope Tendulkar played to make one more century for his Record. Great Tendulkar. Keep going

:bang-head::bang-head::bang-head: for India
:cheers::cheers::cheers: for South Africa..

India have made three changes to the squad that lost the first Test against South Africa in Nagpur by an innings and six runs. They have dropped fast bowlers Sudeep Tyagi and Abhimanyu Mithun along with reserve wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha and called up Dinesh Karthik, Suresh Raina and Sreesanth for the next match in Kolkata.

Squad: MS Dhoni, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Murali Vijay, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, S Badrinath, Harbhajan Singh, Amit Mishra, Zaheer Khan, Sreesanth, Ishant Sharma, Pragyan Ojha, Dinesh Kartik, Suresh Raina

So 3 fast bowlers, 3 spinners, 2 wks and 7 batsmen. out of whom, 2 fast bowlers, 2 spinners 1wk and 6 batsmen will be picked. Good pick. Let's see what happens.. :gm: for India.. is we all want..

India have to prepare a spinner friendly wicket..desperate times call for desperate measures so go with 3 spinners and zaheer. Ojha can be like harris just frustating so that bhajji and mishra can attack. This also brings variety into our attack. Drop saha and get raina or laxman in.

SA batting line up isnt tht gr8 if u look at it closely , and they dont bad tht deep comparing to the earlier SA squads , you dont get such big partnerships everytime , indian spinners have to perform and we will be givign SA a real hammering , Just want indians to go after paul harris !!

finally all prayers will count..;)
