If owning a BMW is your dream then you need not to worry much. Now you can buy BMW X1 in only 25 to 30 lakh rupees. Its prices fits the pocket of most of the Indian middle class customers

Yesterday, BMW showcased this beauty at the Delhi Auto Expo and attracted a lots of attention from general public.

Finally the wait for the latest BMW X1 model will soon be over. In a bid to retain its leadership position in the luxury car segment here, BMW will launch its latest X1 series and new 5 Series models.The top most variant of BMW X1 would have the same engine but 204bhp of maximum power at 4400rpm with 400Nm of maximum torque at 2000~2250rpm. BMW X1 is immensely popular abroad because of its styling.

After the partial success of BMW Z4 (http://www.cardekho.com/carmodels/BMW/BMW_Z4) roadster, luxury car manufacturer BMW (http://www.cardekho.com/cars/BMW) plans to launch its cost efficient and much stylish SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) model BMW X1 (http://www.cardekho.com/carmodels/BMW/BMW_X1) in the Indian auto market. BMW plans to launch BMW X1 with comparatively lower price tag to capture more market share and to make its position stronger in luxury car market. The company, however not disclosed the exact prices of BMW X1 but it is expected that it will be priced in the range of Rs 25 to 30 lacs. The company unveiled this stylish SUV at Delhi Auto Expo and plans to launch it in the India auto market in the second quarter of 2010. It is expected that the BMW X1 will be launched with five variants and it will be available with both manual and automatic transmission option. All five variants of the car will be equipped with the diesel powered engine. It is expected that the BMW X1 will be launched in India as a CKD (Completely Knocked Down) unit and it will be manufactured at the company’s Chennai based manufacturing plant.
