View Full Version : FIAT closes its production in Italy.

Italy's famous car company FIAT has decide to close all its production hubs in the country.The decision has been taken on account of drastic negative change in the demand of company Products.
It has been decide that two out of five comapny's main production outlets will remain closed for at least two weeks.

The company has sent home 30,000 of its labours working in the production outlets on half pay for at least two weeks.
Experts say that this year around 3.5 lakhs less cars will be sold out of which one third will be from FIAT only.

Fiat has said the company has too much production and needs to scale back its Italian operations. The Turn-based company has also provoked anger from workers for its plan to stop production at all six of its Italian plants for two weeks from 22 February.
