Surprised to read the title. John Lennon will soon be telling billions of buyers worldwide about the latest product of a car company in a television commercial, after his widow Yoko Ono sold the rights to archive footage of the rock and roll legend's interview.
The murdered Beatle's image will be used in an advertisement for the Citroen DS3 hatchback even as fans of Lennon are crying foul over Ono "selling out" the singer's legacy, reported Daily Mail.
India auto makers can also use the image of celebrities like Mohd. Rafi, Mukesh, Raj Kapoor etc..
