1.The Bolivian government and a Chinese corporation GWIC(Great Wall Industries Corporation) on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding on helping Bolivia launch communications satellite "Tupac Katari."

2. This will be the First Satellite Programme of Bolivia.

3. President Evo Morales thanked the Chinese government as well as Chinese technicians and businessmen for making possible the 300-million-U.S.-dollar project.

4.According to Bolivian Public Works Minister Walter Delgadillo, the satellite has a maximum capacity of the DFH-4 model that will enable it to cover not only Bolivia but also the whole Latin America.

5.The services of the satellite will contribute to the second literacy campaign involving tens of thousands of Bolivian citizens who do not have access to information and education,".

6. In 2008, China helped Venezuela launch the first Venezuelan satellite "Simon Bolivar."

7. This satellite has been named after an Indian Freedom fighter Tupac Katari.

1. Iran-Pakistan have signed the Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement(GSPA) lat year June.

2. The project was intended to carry gas from Iran to Pakistan and then to India but India withdrew itself due to some issues on the negotiation over price and Transit.

3. Iran will supply 750 million cubic feet of gas per day to Pakistan for the next 25 years.

4.Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and his Iranian counterpart, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, signed a US$7.5 billion agreement in Tehran last May.

5. Iran will initially send 30 million cubic meters of gas per day to Pakistan, to be increased to 60 million cubic meters per day later.

6. China is also ver keen to join this project.If China joins the project, the pipeline would pass through Pakistan's Northern Areas, now known as Gilgit-Baltistan, and into China via the Khunjerab Pass.
