Come to think of it, 3 IDIOTS carries a huge 'burden' on its shoulders: The 'burden' of humungous expectations. And it's not without reasons...

• 3 IDIOTS is Aamir's next release after the record-breaker GHAJINI.

• 3 IDIOTS is Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra's third film together, after MUNNABHAI MBBS and LAGE RAHO MUNNABHAI, landmark films.

• Three actors from the path-breaking RANG DE BASANTI team - Aamir, Madhavan and Sharman - team up yet again. Plus, Aamir's teaming up with Hirani. It couldn't get bigger!

3 IDIOTS is over-hyped and that could be dangerous for any film since it's the expectations which kill a film if the content doesn't match up to the hype. In this case, all izz well!

3 idiots is much better than Munnabhai series. It motivates the young generation to follow their heart and set new trends.. Must watch movie especially for young crowd of India..

3 Idiots has broken old records on box office. It is slowly moving towards the title of super-duper hit movie. The film has opened with the most number of prints ever for a Hindi film. In India, 1,550 prints in over 1,760 screens and overseas 342 prints in over 366screens. The film was released in more than 40 countries. The collection figures from the USA and Canada show the biggest opening weekend ever for a Hindi film. In UK , the film has surpassed all films and reached just below Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, an all time hit.
