Tone suggests the mood of the author.

There are two types of tone
1. Subjective tones
2. Objective tones.

Nostalgic
Mobilizing
Cynical
Optimistic
Pessimistic
Satirical
Argumentative
Humorous
Didactic
Critical


Whereas, objective tones are

neutral
unbiased
descriptive
non partisan etc.
