India’s capital city, Delhi has a history that dates back to thousands years and a heritage as rich as its picturesque landscape. Since time imemorial, Delhi has been the capital of several empires, prominent among them was the Mughal dynasty which built large number of forts and monuments. Over the centuries, the forts and monuments of Delhi were abandoned, some captured, some disabused, leaving behind a rich history in their wake. In fact, even today, Delhi’s rich history lies enshrined in the forts and monuments across the city and each monument dotting the landscape mutely tells some story from the historical past.

However, later additions were made constantly to the forts and monuments of Delhi, but still they provide a rich architectural legacy of influences that begins with the Hindu-Rajput style, shows an assimilation of the Mughal architectural style and later the British style architecture.

Delhi is home to numerous imposing forts like Red Fort and Old Fort and impressive monuments such as Qutab Minar, India Gate, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb etc. Here, we are providing capsules of some of the most important forts and monuments of Delhi. http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i68/Mayankaz/RedFort.jpg

India is a vast country having large differences in geography, climate, culture, religion and language. India's culture is a rich mixture of the past and the present ranging from the ancient vedic heritage to the modern economy and technological advances. Agra, Jaipur, Goa, Kashmir, Kerala are some of the places. But I think Gujarat is the most beautiful state and embraces every visitor with the hospitable nature of its inhabitants. Gujarat Tourist Places will fascinate its visitors with its beauty.

Hi,
In my opinion, The Karnataka is the best place for tourism. The fascinating Jog Falls Karnataka is world renowned for its attractive beauty. The spot is located in the South India in the state of Karnataka in Shimoga district. The breathtaking Jog falls envelop the exotic River Sharavathi. The best time to visit Jog fall is in Monsoon season, it is the great time to see the waterfalls as it is fed by the monsoon rains and is at its full force. Such is the force of the water that it makes a cloud of vapor over the falls.

Hi,
I am more passionate about historical places. Delhi is one of the historical places in India. It is also a city of Forts and Monuments. Jantar Mantar, Red fort, humayun tomb etc are the attractive places in Delhi. The city is very large. Transportation in Delhi is cheap as compare to Mumbai, Bangalore. Bus and Taxi rates in Delhi is reasonable and it can afford every person.

10 is too small a number for attractive places in India.
The list will vary depending on what the tourist is really interested in seeing and experiencing.
Nothing less than 100 will do even partial justice to this question.
People can even list a thousand places worth visiting.

Just my opinion of course.
