Before scientific developments and for sometime even after that, plants were only considered to be living. But their treatment value was only realized by people afterwards slowly. Initially people only knew that plants breathe like humans and breathe out oxygen, which is inhaled by humans. But later, studies of plants went deeper and their ability to cure a lot of things was found. Today, there is a separate science of plants.

Plants talk to each other
Plants can talk with each other. They can even pass on the information from one to other. You’ll be shocked to know that when camels eat the corner fresh leaves hanging from the branches of Babool trees, the leaves start secreting a harmful gas, which settles on the entire tree. This gas makes the leaves sour in taste and camels are forced to not eat them.

Plants give signals to each other
Like Babool, cabbage too sends signals to each other. The moment a vegetarian animal or a pest enters the farm of cabbage, the vegetable starts secreting a harmful gas, which spreads on the entire plant. Small insects like grass hoppers, dragon flies, etc can’t control this smell and leave the farm.
