7-Eleven
In 1928, 7-Eleven was known as Tote'm Stores, named after the way customers 'toted' away what they bought. Almost 20 years later, in 1946, the store was named 7-Eleven to reflect newly implemented extended hours from 7 in the morning till 11 at night.
