I m not able to see that comment (mobile) but accept that the caste politics deeply intigrated with indian political system. No one party can emerge or win without casteism in northern india . Even BJP and other party involved due to upper -lower caste dispute as a agenda.

No one party or indivisual responsible for it . But congress has failure to control them . The policies of congress in last five decads has failed to create balanced development in various sector , so major drawback emarging as regional imbalance . The distance between upper caste and lower cast has been increased .

It is not that politics uses caste , at the same time ...caste also uses politics .

So .. not importence of that statemement . Caste..religion..regin..etc are transitional factor of indian democracy.
