In the meanwhile Shobha goes to college and is nervous about Vishal's mom coming to visit her. She discusses Payal with her friend and tells her about Payal's traits. Tulsi chats up with Ganga about Sanvari and Bhavari and about how they are coping with their studies, Sanvari and Bhavari watch them both chatting and pull another escape jig on Ganga.

There is a lot of activity happening in the Virani's kitchen as all the women of the house are cooking and preparing for Shobha's would-be mother-in-law's arrival. They are all chirpy and pulling each other's leg about who can cook. Indu announces that even she wants to learn to cook and everyone is amused, as she wants to cook for her rich and handsome actor who she would marry since she herself has now become an actress.

Aarti tells Payal how she wants to build a huge industrial development on the plot and make Gautam the boss. They both again discuss their bitterness regarding the Viranis and they both promise to keep in touch. Payal then leaves Aarti's place and is on her way to Shantiniketan, Vishal calls her on her cell, Payal assures him that he will get married only to Shobha.

Payal reaches the house and all the old memories come back to her mind - about all the insults that were showered on her in Shantiniketan. She enters the house with a vengeance, sees the tulsi plant and pulls out a stem in anger and throws it. The members of the house are anxiously waiting for Mrs. Mehra… only to be taken aback! Payal is insulted very badly and asked to leave the house by the VIrani's. Shobha is extremely upset and follows Payal to the house, only to be brainwashed by Payal. Tulsi tries to explain to Shobha about Payal's past but Shobha refuses to understand.

Vishal calls Payal, but Payal tells him that she is ok with the marriage. He then calls at the Virani house and Mihir takes the call and tells him never to call again. Shobha then calls Vishal and tells him everything. Tulsi and ba discuss how Payal is now using Shobha to get back at the Viranis.

Mihir decides to find a guy for Shobha to get her married, but JD tells him that it's not simple and reminds him that youngsters can be very irrational. At the dinner table Shobha is absent, Gautam goes and convinces her to eat and tells her that he will meet Payal and apologise to her on everybody's behalf.

They go to meet Payal and Payal refuses to accept the apology telling them it's not their fault and they are too young to interfere in adult matters. But she assures them that she is not against the marriage. Payal calls Aarti and tells her about her son's marriage with Tulsi's daughter. Aarti is surprised. Tulsi apologises to Shobha and for raising her hand on her, but Shobha is upset.

Tarun tells him about his interest in sports and Chirag motivates him to work hard in that field and make everyone proud of him.

Shobha meets Vishal at a restaurant and Vishal tells her that he will meet her parents and they both will try and convince them.

Mihir offers to take ba for a foreign trip but ba says she will take Indu along, Indu gets excited about it.

Shoba asks Savatri to help her out. Vishal comes to meet the Virani's, Mihir asks him to leave. Shobha insists that he should at least listen to what Vishal has to say, after being given a minute Vishal tells them that nobody can stop their marriage but they will get married only after their approval and he leaves.

Kiran and Karishma talk over the phone. Karishma says she is in India but she doesn't give Kiran the exact location. Kiran wonders where would she be.

Savita tries to convince Tulsi about the marriage but Tulsi is dead against Payal.


Shobha and Vishal discuss the situation. Vishal tells Shobha that they should get married, but not against their parent's wishes, the final decision though will be theirs.

Ba and Indu go for shopping and Indu tries attracting a crowd for publicity. Saahil speaks to Shobha but then Gautam interrupts and tells Shobha to live her life according to her wishes.

Payal's husband taunts her about her failure. He warns her not run behind the Viranis at the cost of their son.

Tulsi meets Ganga. Ganga tells her about her friend Shalini who got married against her parent's wishes and now is unhappy because her mother refused to give in.

Kesar comes to the house to meet Ba with her kids Aparna and Lajja. Sanvari and Bhanvari meet Aparna and Lajja. Kesar asks Ba about Tulsi looking slightly tensed, Ba tells her everything.

Indu takes the kids to meet Gautam and tries to drag him to watch a movie with the kids. But he avoids them by flattering Indu and gives them the idea of watching Indu's shoot.

Tulsi and Kesar discuss the problems; Savitri and Gayatri discuss the same simultaneously. Everyone's disgusted with Payal.

Mihir wants to get Shobha married soon with another guy. Harsh tries to cheer Karishma, who is sitting alone. He tells her about how he misses his family and asks her about hers, she tells him bitter things about her family.

All the kids in the family are having a great time with ba, and Indu takes the responsibility of taking the kids for a movie. Gayatri asks Pooja about Amba Bhavan file, Pooja tells her that she had told Sejal about the file and wonders why Sejal didn't tell Gayatri about it.

Mihir shows Tulsi photographs of prospective grooms for Shobha. Tulsi tells him he is being very hasty. Mihir then tells her about how Shobha has been secretly meeting Vishal, Tulsi agrees to see the pictures. Tarun's friend asks him to come with him to the disco. Tarun asks Pooja for permission to go out, Pooja fires him but gives him the money asks him not to misuse the money this time.

Payal calls the Viranis and Gautam takes the call but since Tulsi is around he tries to be discreet. Payal tells him that she doesn't want any problems created in the family. Tulsi shows the pictures to Shobha, they have a heated argument over the marriage decisions.

Mihir tells Gautam to go to US and work for their branch out there since he is too busy. Gautam looks at it as a good opportunity to get his passport back! Tulsi finds Shobha missing in the house…

Everyone's upset with Shobha missing. Mihir is very angry at the thought that she might be with Vishal. Shobha just then walks in, overhears Mihir's conversation and says that she had gone for a movie with some friends. She says that she was not with Vishal and is very upset that they don't trust her.


Shobha emotionally blackmails Savita to support her… Savita agrees. Mihir feels guilty for being harsh to Shobha but concludes that he will never let the marriage happen.

Karishma is waiting for a guy who comes and gives her a book, which has contents that look like drugs. She puts money in the same book and returns the book back to the guy. Harsh sees this and wonders about the contents in the packet.

Sejal taunts Pooja about how Gayatri is handling Ambha Bhavan alone and offers to help, but Pooja asks her about the file. Sejal tells her that the file was never there and says that maybe she didn't keep the file there at all.

Savita tries to convince Mihir and Tulsi to stop concentrating on Payal and think about Shobha but Mihir refuses to change his decision. Shobha is worried and calls Vishal. Payal overhears their conversation over the parallel connection.

Shobha and Vishal meet and Vishal takes Shobha to the court. They meet a lawyer and get some registration information according to which they can get married after a month of registration. Shobha is nervous, but she signs the document. There's guy who is keeping a watch over the couple (hired by Payal), who informs Payal about this.

Mihir asks Tulsi to give Gautam his passport back since he has to go to US and tells her that the Mehtas and their son Sameer Mehta will be coming to see Shobha.


Sanvari and Bhanvari are upset because they are not taken for a vacation. Gautam cheers them up.

Gayatri blames Pooja for losing out on the grant, which did not go to Amba Bhavan because her file was misplaced. Pooja tells her about Sejal misplacing it but Gayatri asks her not to blame Sejal for her carelessness.

Tulsi gives Gautam his passport back and tells him that she trusts him by now.

Ba, Tulsi and Savita try to convince Shobha to see the boy, Shobha agrees as Savita hints her that it would be safe to see him.
