Hi,
I remember in 10th standard ncert hindi textbook there was a story written from the view point of the author. The author talked about this gentle, kind caring woman in his neighbourhood who would celebrate every festival with great enthusiasm and invite all her neighbours for the festivals. There was also a scene where the lady was getting her house cleaned with dung before a festival, and greeted everyone with roli. She used to throw grand festa at these celebrations too. If someone could please tell me which story this is or even the author of the work i will be greatly obliged. Thank you!
