Michael Faraday FRS was an English scientist who contributed to the study of electromagnetism and electrochemistry. His main discoveries include the principles underlying electromagnetic induction, diamagnetism and electrolysis. He also did pioneering work in the field of Chemistry (gases).
कहा जाता हैं कि आज ही के दिन सन 1831 को उन्होंने अपनी प्रयोगशाला में बिजली बनाने में सफलता प्राप्त की जिससे भविष्य में जनरेटर बने.
