There r some rules u need to follow while flirting online........

Social networking portals have become the playground for all sorts of love games. But each game has its own rules and you better play by them if you want to win. Chatting online seems to be the easiest thing to do, but when it comes to creating an impression, most of the people fall flat .

Either they come across as amateurs or overtly eager aspirants. Here are some pointers for you to mind your flirting skills.
Don’t appear overtly eager:
Okay, so you’ve found the guy/girl of your dreams and you are eager to get to know him/her. But wait… don’t make it seem like you are already dreaming of marriage. Take it slowly. Once you have met the person casually send in your friendship request after a day or two.

And make sure that you don’t mention that you’ve checked out his/her profile before and have taken a look at the pictures if there are any.
Don’t leave messages by every hour:

Networking websites are meant for you to keep in touch with each other, but don’t make it seem like you spend every moment on the webpage.
In the initial stages, don’t send too many messages.
Your friendly nature may be blocked very soon.

Not too many smileys or winks, please:
It’s okay to bombard your friends with emoticons, but it’s not a great idea when you are chatting with someone new. While sending a wink or smiley may fill in the gaps... too many of them make you appear over joyous.

Don’t exaggerate:
Try and be genuine and realistic. Impressing someone is good, but too much of faffing can land you in trouble. For example, if you don’t like car racing , don’t list it as your hobby just to appear cool.
Also, if you are interested in someone, make sure that there aren’t many pictures with your ex in your album...

Pinging him/her the moment they come online isn’t a great idea. Don’t make it seem like you’ve been up all day waiting for him/her to show up. But don’t hesitate to strike a conversation after a while. Then again, don’t make it a regular practice.

chat and enjoy....
