आए दिन निकल रही सरकारी नौकरियों के बीच आज SBI ने बड़ा धमाका किया है. SBI ने चालू वित्तवर्ष के दौरान 10,000 अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों को नियुक्त करने की योजना का निर्णय किया है। दिलचस्प है कि कोई न कोई सरकारी या अर्ध-सरकारी नौकरियां आए दिन निकलती रहती हैं। अलग-अलग फील्ड और पोस्ट की इन नौकरियों की जानकारियां अधिकतर लोगों को आसानी से नहीं मिल पाती हैं। इसके लिए उन्हें दूसरे तरह के साधनों का इस्तेमाल करना होता है, जो कि टाइमटेकिंग होता है।

भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (एसबीआई) ने अपने परिचालन का विस्तार करने के लिए चालू वित्तवर्ष के दौरान 10,000 अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों को नियुक्त करने की योजना बनाई है।

एसबीआई के चेयरमैन प्रतीप चौधरी ने बताया, हम इस वर्ष 10,000 लोगों की नियुक्ति करेंगे, जिसमें 1,500 प्रोबेशनरी अधिकारी शामिल होंगे, जिसकी प्रक्रिया अप्रैल में शुरू हो गई। करीब 7,500 कर्मचारी, अधिकारी चालू वित्तवर्ष में सेवानिवृत हो रहे हैं।

उन्होंने कहा, हमने अपनी शाखाओं का उन्नयन किया है। सभी शाखाओं को वातानुकूलित कर दिया गया है। हमने पिछली तिमाही में अपनी शाखाओं में पर्याप्त कर्मचारियों को तैनात किया है और अपनी विभिन्न शाखाओं में 20,000 सहायक ग्रेड के कर्मचारियों की भर्ती की है। एसबीआई की देश में करीब 1,200 शाखाएं खोलने की योजना है तथा चालू वित्तवर्ष में चीन और ब्रिटेन सहित विदेशों में आठ शाखाएं खोलने की योजना है।
