माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ने विंडोज xp इस्तेमाल करने वालों को राहत दे दी है. कंपनी एक बड़े वायरस से लड़ने के लिए अपने इंटरनेट एक्सप्लोरर ब्राउजर में आवश्यक अपडेट मुहैया करा रही है.
कंपनी को इस बात का पता चला कि ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम में वायरस है तो उसने इससे फौरन निजात दिलाने के लिए कदम उठाया. साइबर सिक्योरिटी फर्म फायर आई ने चेतावनी दी थी कि हैकरों का एक ग्रुप वायरस अटैक की तैयारी में है. माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ने 8 अप्रैल को तेरह साल पुराने xp ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम को हमेशा के लिए विदा कह दिया था . लेकिन आज भी लाखों लोग इसे इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं. पहले तो कंपनी ने कहा था कि वह इसे इस्तेमाल करने वालों की कोई मदद नहीं करेगी. लेकिन अब उसने खुद वायरस को दूर करने के लिए कदम उठाया. कंपनी ने इसे ठीक करने का फैसला किया और सभी ग्राहकों की मदद करने का ऐलान किया. खबर है कि फिल्हाल थोड़ी मशीनों पर ही हमला हुआ है. अब माइक्रोसॉफ्ट की कार्रवाई से कई ग्राहक पचड़े से बच गए हैं.
