"एक बार फिर" सही उत्तर के लिए आपका धन्यवाद करते हुए मुझे अत्यंत हर्ष हो रहा है, जी वी साहब. आपके उत्तर देने की शैली से मुझे एक कार्यक्रम की याद आ गई. एक बार दूरदर्शन पर एक प्रोग्राम आता था जिसका शीर्षक था "सोलह सवाल". उसमें कुछ गिने हुए विषयों पर आमंत्रित व्यक्ति से अपने मन में एक सवाल सोचने के लिए कहा जाता था. दो विशेषज्ञ उससे सवाल पूछना शुरू कर देते थे. आम तौर पर वे विशेषज्ञ अधिकतम 16 सवाल से पहले ही उसके द्वारा मन में सोचे हुए विषय (स्थान, व्यक्ति आदि) का सही उत्तर दे देते थे. इसमें एक विशेषज्ञ थे विनोद नागपाल जिन्होंने दूरदर्शन के पहले सोप सीरियल 'हम लोग' में भी काम किया था. सीरियल में उनका नाम बसेसर था.

I used to enjoy that serial Ham Log.
Vinod Nagpal as Basesar was simply brilliant.
I remember the character of his virtuous and patient and long suffering wife but forget her name now.
But I still remember the names of his daughters (Bhadki, Majhli Chutki) and the sons (Nanhe and Lallu)

That serial had gripped the nation and the whole country was united during the telecast of that serial. Even though those were the days of Black and White TV, no remote and a single channel, TV was much more enjoyable then than it is today.TV was free. We did not have to pay the cable walla. A crude antenna brought all the programs to our living rooms.

I also remember the serial Buniyaad, and the Two classics Raamaayan and Mahaabhaarat.
I don't watch TV at all nowadays.
I have much more fun at My Hindi Forum!

This time, I am not sure.

I can't identify the actress but the girl looks like a Punjabi.
The background scene looks like a typical scene from a rural area in Punjab.

I did some digging and searching on the internet for a short while, with these clues and can only make a guess.
If I had been confident about my answer, I would give a clue so that others could also try.
Since I am myself not sure, let me disclose my best guess.

Film: हवाएं

I found a wikipedia entry on this film, and also located some video sites with songs from this film. I am still lookng for the particular video where this particular still picture appears in the songs from the film हवाएं. That is my usual method for making sure. Somewhere there will be a song on Youtube where this scene will appear briefly.

I may change my answer later during the day so, please wait till afternoon or evening before either confirming this answer or giving the correct answer.
