I think cricket is screwing up hockey in Indian subcontinent..

Let me tell you about rich past of Indian hockey.

In 1928, the team won its first Olympic gold medal and until 1956, the Indian men's team remained unbeaten in the Olympics, winning six gold medals in a row. In total, the Indian hockey team has won eight Olympics gold medals — the highest among all national teams.

Hockey is the national sport of India.

But today, the team is in very pathetic condition.. no company is willing to sponsor Indian Hockey Team.. we don't care about hockey matches.. we just want to see sachin scoring hundred in cricket matches..

Please give a thought on this issue.

Finally happened what was expected....

A decent start and a decent failure too....India finished with 8th rank...

Australia again proved itself in Hockey too....
