India's most popular online shopping websites
As the number of online users grow so does the interest in shopping on internet. At the beginning of 2013, India had seen 50 per cent growth in total internet user base compared to the year before, according to data from com Score. This rise has made India the fifth largest e-commerce market in terms of visitors to retail categories. The growing online retail market has become such a lucrative business that global internet giant Amazon, which has concentrated on biggest markets until now, started an India-centric website in June. Let’s look at the top online retail companies from the 77.1 million, or 7.71 crore, unique visitors that logged on to internet

Re: India's most popular online shopping websites
Useful info.
Thanks Popular travel portals can also be mentioned. They may not be true "shopping" web sites but in a way, they are. You shop for tickets on these sites. I have done quite a bit of shopping for bus/train/air tickets on line. I have also taken advantage of cinema ticket booking online. I have not purchased anything from these shopping sites so far. May be I will start now. Can some one list the advantages and disadvantages of on line shopping? |
