Meaning for this Sentance- Please translate this to English

I consulted an Astrologer for some personal issues. He suggested me to "Ek neembu mein chaar long gaad dijiye aur usko apni right pocket mein rakh lijiye". I didn't understand the word "gaad". Can somebody kindly translate this to me. I am from Andhra Pradesh and know Hindi but only a little. Thanks for your help.

In my opinion, when you accept the words of an astrologer with a positive mind, they act as a positive force upon you (or they may become a part of your auto suggestion mechanism). You may or may not be able to rationalize the outcome but it has the ability to boost your morale in the face of disappointments and adversity.

I hope you did not misunderstand my question.
I asked because I was genuinely curious to know about his experience
I agree with your observations.
When advice comes from a well wisher, and is received with a postive frame of mind, it does not matter whether it is astrological or not.
Some people have faith in astrology and some do not.
Those who do not believe would have consulted an experienced counsellor
Not that counsellors are better than astrologers at all times.
Sometimes one does better than the other.
I am always curious about other people's experiences with astrology, as my own experiences have been mixed.
To each his own. The world can and should accommodate both schools of thought and belief.
I hope I have not started an unnecessary controversy here.
