Default Meaning of the word "anitej"

Hi,

Please could someone help me out with the meaning of the word "anitej." I am in the USA right now so my resources are limited, but I hope someone on this forum can help out. I have checked in some Hindi dictionaries and they do not have this word. An online search gives the meaning as "immeasurable splendor."

Thank you very much in advance!

Default Re: Meaning of the word "anitej"

You have written the word in Roman script.
I am presuming you are looking for अनितेज
I too looked up three well known printed Hindi dictionaries
1) Nalanda's विशाल शब्द सागर, २) समान्तर शब्द्कोश, ३) हिन्दी-अँग्रेज़ी शब्दकोश

I also checked online
1)translate.google.com,
2)dict.hinkhoj.com
3)shabdkosh.com

This word is not listed in any of these.
Sorry for being unable to help.
If you are able to confirm the answer (immeasurable splendour) from another independent and reliable source, do post here for our enlightenment.
Is this perhaps a Sanskrit word or a word in some other regional language of India?
The thought just struck me as possible because it is difficult to believe that this word (assuming it exists) would have been omitted in ALL these rich sources, in this modern internet age.
