HELP - Translation

Hi guys, I'm currently doing a translation of लो दिन बीता, लो रात गई by Harivansh Rai Bachchan into English and wondered if you could help me out with a few points. There's some words I'm finding difficult to translate or find the meaning to. I've translated the poem from script to Latin and English. Be great if you could help me out. Cheers.

Chkin birds, buds Mahki - Chkin & Mahki are new to me?

I am sure, those are typos.

Taking the most common usage into account, "Chehkin" might mean "tweeted". in that context, "mahki" will mean "blossomed" or "bloomed" depending on context.

Can't understand what the first word might be. I can try to help you with exact words and their context, if you can post the stanza or a couple lines where these words are used.

Here is a broken translation based on my poor english vocabulary. Please don't laugh.

Sun reached west, and set; dusk arrived and spread; it was like 100 evening into one;
why did I thought, waking up; that, day will bring something new; alas, the day lapsed, and night spent;


stars arrived so very slowly; and sprinkled across the sky; it was like 100 nights into one;
why did I thought at dusk; that, nightfall will bring something new; alas, the day lapsed, and night spent;


birds tweeted, buds blossomed; sun again rose from east; morning arrived just like always;
why did I thought, sleeping; that, dawn will bring something new; alas, the day lapsed, and night spent;

Sorry, I can't remember the exact words for most phrases, like "dheeme dheeme". I hope it works for our OP.

Also, I tried using "Google translator" for fun, but it made the same error as OP here. I guess, he used google's shitty service for translation.
