Neem ka ped is the best in this list. I still can't forget its title track. it was awesome.
It was a great serial on social tension between the landed aristocracy and their serfs. listen to its title track (by Jagjit Singh). you will love it. |

Chandrakanta was one of the first serials of India which was based on magic and fantasy. Chandrakanta was based on a popular Hindi novel by Devaki Nandan Khatri. It is considered to be the first work of prose in the modern Hindi language, and may have significantly contributed to the language's popularity.
 for this serials.   TV bole to Doordarshan is great.

10 years back when the Bohmkesh series first appeared on TV, a detective by the name of Byomkesh Bakshi made an unobtrusive entry into the world of Indian middle class. He preferred calling himself a satyanneshi, a seeker of truth, and within days was a household name, courtesy his cerebral skills and the exciting situations he found himseft in. I loved the show.. now what to say..
