No, its not correct.
The name of the serial was Daya Sagar.

Malgudi days was my favorite, i stills love watching its episodes on you tube, i always thought that it must me made in a new format by some very experienced and fine director.Specially swami stories were awesome i still cannot forget them they influenced my child hood very deeply.
