Beet jate hai pal,
Beet jate hai din,
Par nahi katta ek bhi pal,
Jismai aapki yaade nahi hoti.


Zubaa khamosh hoti hai,
Aankho mai nami hoti hai,
Yahi bas humari zindgi ki
Ek adhuri si kahani rahi hai.


Kahete hai sab ki
Waqt ke saath har jakham bhar jata hai,
Par hum aapse puchhte hai
Kaise bharegi vo jagah
Jaha pe har pal aapki kami raheti hai.
