Pooktre (Art of shaping a tree)

Most of us have never heard of the word "Pooktre". Peter and Becky of Australia have invented and mastered this art of shaping a tree as it grows. It involves the gradual shaping of a tree along a predetermined design as it grows. Designing and setting up the supporting framework are fundamental and essential for success in achieving desired results.

It is marvelous. We had heard about grafting of one fruit tree's branch into another fruit tree's trunk or to some other part thereof, but never heard or imagined engineeering of a single tree into such beautiful and awe-inspiring formations. Though all the formations shown in the pictures are beautiful, yet the Pooktre " The Ballerina planted in 1999 ", Pooktre planted in 1998 depicting three dancers, and the last picture showing a gentleman relaxing in anti-gravity chair like formation are superb.
